Why I’m interested in breaking artist and new music.
As a music connoisseur and curator, I would have to say I’m primarily interested in what my ears say.
When checking out new music, I usually don’t pay attention to the artist names or even the track titles. It’s strictly a matter of, is there a groove and whether I would like to run it back.
Don’t get me wrong, if it’s good and I like it, I want the track to do well so that the artist may get the opportunity and incentive to produce more music like it. I know, it’s selfish, but that’s how I feel about it.
From the perspective of an entrepreneur of a marketing platform,
I understand how it benefits me to be interested in who’s breaking artists and new music, because it’s best to learn from those who are actually doing it. The thing is, to me, who’s doing it is according to my tastes. I have to go with those that have introduced me to music I appreciate.
Music artists are looking for a platform that can change their lives by helping them get the attention. It’s vital, for me, to demonstrate that The GetRight Spot can do so. It’s important to be seen as a platform that changes user’s lives.
DJ Chuck T says there are several aspects to breaking an artist and song. He makes sense to me.
This made me think, the best way to show what The GetRight Spot can do would be to elevate the curators I trust that are good at breaking artists or songs by promoting them through the site.
I’m one of the people I trust and I wish to have a role in elevating musicians and producers that make #GetRightMusic
This leads me to ask these questions:
- Who are other music curators you trust? These are the music connoisseurs that have led me to great music.
- How can this website assist in turning them into more influential, song and artist breakers?
- How do I do this for myself as a demonstration to others. (Probably should have put this as number 1)
I guess this is the mission of Elevatin’ the GetRight Spot
I have to figure out how to become an influential music tastemaker and demonstrate it using this site as proof that it can be done right here.
Figuring it out is what the journey is all about.
